Course Overview


The s course is designed for advanced theology students who want a deeper understanding and appreciation for hermeneutical training. The course will require study, class participation, quizzes,   and final testing.

At the end of this course, you   will be able to:

● Know the various forms of the hermeneutical approaches , history and concepts

● Identify personal styles and develop skills to enhance pastoral care in instructional settings

●

● 3rd Edition Hermeneutics Principles and Processes of Biblical  Interpretation

8 Week Exercises in All Chapiters

● Mid-Term on-line test and a five-page paper summarizing Chapter 1-5


Week8

On-line test and 4 page paper summarizing chapter 6-9


● 8th  through 11th Century Dark Ages

● The Great Schisms 

Write a 2-page summary/paper on each century.

 


Exam Schedule

  

Homework Policy

● Homework assignments is due on the Sunday night prior to Monday ’s classes at 11:59 p.m.

● All assignments are required to be written in MLA format

● Plagiarism will not be tolerated!

● Submit all MS Word or Google Docs using your Commissioned University Email

○ At least 2 pages are required

Assessment Policy

● Quizzes and Final Exam will be administered by Google Forms , Word document or Online Testing

Grading Policy

● Grading Scale

○ A= 90-100

○ B= 80-89

○ C= 70-79

○ D= 60-69

○ F= 60 and below

Attendance Policy

● Attendance and participation is required for all classes

● If you are going to be absent, please email me at least 24 hours prior to class time
